Pitsco Education’s home-grown ecommerce website, built on ASP.Net, was challenging to update and offered limited content control for their team. They enlisted LimeLight to assess the best migration platform, ultimately choosing Shopify, and to manage the entire implementation process.

A robust brand

During the website implementation, Pitsco had recently refreshed their core brand elements, adding distinctive visual features such as a graph paper background, torn paper effects, rounded edges, and doodles. LimeLight ensured that all 100+ brand visuals were seamlessly integrated and fully editable within the Shopify platform.

Tailored experiences

Pitsco’s primary audience consists of school districts, which necessitate tax-exempt purchasing, complete profiles, quote requests, and other functionalities not commonly required by DTC ecommerce customers. LimeLight integrated the Shopify platform with Pitsco’s ERP system to deliver a tailored experience for school district administrators.

Rich, flexible PDPs

Pitsco offers a diverse range of products, from STEM and robotics kits to replacement parts. They required a flexible product detail page capable of accommodating these various scenarios while also providing comprehensive information about curriculum and resources.
