Growing up in Mound City, Kansas taught Lacy Nickelson the value of hard work, dedication, and heart. She displays that at LimeLight and throughout her community as the founder of Fostering Connections, a non-profit dedicated to supporting foster children and families.

“If you are going to worry, why pray? If you are going to pray, you need not worry.”

She earned a marketing degree from Oklahoma State University and a master’s in human resource development from Pittsburg State University. She brings extensive sales experience to LimeLight, and she also sometimes brings Enneagram tests. Lacy and her husband Tom have four awesome children: twins Carsen and Chloe, Chalei, and Cashlea.

What’s your happiest childhood memory?

Playing outside on our farm.

What’s something you have to do every day?

Quiet time in the morning and working out in the morning.

Cats, dogs, or others?

Horses. Dogs and cats are fine, too.

If I weren’t so damn good at my job,

I’d probably be teaching horse riding lessons.
