No one at LimeLight calls Jeremy Uncle Jer (yet), but we probably should. Why? Because the man has been an uncle since he was 1 year old. That was a big year for him. Not only did he become an uncle, he learned the joys of bipedalism, and it was when his family moved from Kansas City to Joplin, MO. That is until they moved again when he was going into third grade, to Merwin, MO, where Jeremy graduated high school with a class of “6 or 7.” Why the uncertainty? Only Jer Bear knows.

Jeremy went on to Fort Scott Community College, then Pittsburg State University where he graduated with a BBA in Computer Information Systems. Before coming to LimeLight, he spent several years working as a full-stack developer. How did we woo him our way? He says it’s the culture, people, and structure. Whatever it was, we couldn’t be happier to have him join our fun-loving family.

What do you want to make sure you do before you die?

Travel around the world.

What advice would you give someone who wants to join our team?

Just do it and enjoy the ride.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

To come up with an idea, drink alcohol. To execute on an idea, drink coffee.
