Do you know how many Springfields there are in the world? 41. One shy of the answer to the ultimate question and 30ish too many. Maybe it’s because Cody is from one of the most commonly named places in the world (the Missouri version) that he always tries to bring an uncommon perspective to LimeLight’s creative endeavors. Maybe. Or it could be because he has a doctorate in philosophy and loves creating, challenging, and reframing ideas. Probably more that. But Springfield isn’t off the hook.
“I’m not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.” – Michael Scott
Cody came to LimeLight with decades of experience in copywriting, branding, and creative direction working with some of the most well-known names in the food industry, like Frito-Lay, Nestle, Bush’s Beans, Tyson, Pepsi, and Starbucks. Was that braggy? Yes, but also to point out that it was working with some of those really large clients that he recognized the value of working with less gigantic clients and entrepreneurs who are dedicated to building companies, brands, and products they truly believe in.
When not at work, he’s usually doing something with soccer. Coaching it, watching it, playing it, refereeing it, or cheering on his two children who play it alongside his lovely and amazing wife, Allison.

In another life,
I’m pretty sure I was annoying someone by asking “why?” way too much. Wait, that’s this life. I was probably a platypus.
If I could invent a holiday,
it would celebrate peanut butter in all its glorious forms.
