Life is about experiences, and those we have when away from home are some of the most memorable. That’s why we were excited when Crawford County Visitor’s Bureau engaged LimeLight Marketing to rebrand and market Crawford County.
As the Crawford County Visitor’s Bureau planned to utilize digital marketing to reach a wider audience of potential visitors, it quickly came up that the brand could use a refresh. We created an updated logo that is modern and includes a supporting color palette and icons that are used across all materials. In addition to design, we wrote brand messaging using a storytelling approach to promoting the many attractions that are available.
365 Day Social Media Campaign
365 days in a year. 365 things to do, see or eat in Crawford County shared on social media.
LimeLight Marketing took on the challenge of a social media campaign to promote something to do, see, or eat in Crawford County every day in 2017 with the goal of increasing reach, engagement, and ultimately local tourism. The campaign, Crawford County 365, consists of engaging Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram posts, blogs, and videos posted 7 days a week.
Within one month, we increased page reach by 300%, post engagement by 900%, page views by 800%, and earned 533 new page likes.
Locals Know Best
In the 365 campaign, we tapped into the excitement and insight of locals to promote BEST things to eat, see or do in Crawford County. Using polls, we curated the best breakfast spot, cheeseburger, salons/spas, and more and shared in a blog post on the Visit Crawford County blog. This was a really fun way to promote some hidden gems even locals hadn’t heard about.
