Career Opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, creative Digital Marketing Manager to create, coordinate, and deliver multiple aspects of marketing campaigns for our clients. This individual will be an essential contributor to projects and initiatives. As part of the Client Services team, they will work with account managers, and alongside our design and development departments to create and implement content calendars, organic and paid social media strategies, and manage reporting across social media and email platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Social Media
    • Create monthly social media content calendars
    • Write social media posts
    • Schedule social content across various platforms
    • Develop campaigns to drive social engagement, page likes, and website traffic
  • Email Marketing
    • Recommend ways to use email to meet client goals
    • Write email copy
    • Design emails using MailChimp, HubSpot, and other ESP’s
    • Use marketing automation to build workflows and lists
  • CMS Website Updates
    • Build and schedule blog posts
    • Ensure blogs are built for SEO
    • Analyze blog performance and make recommendations
  • Deliver specific aspects of a larger marketing plan
  • Interface with Clients
    • Interact with coworkers and clients, communicating respectfully and reacting positively to client feedback
  • Contribute to the delivery of a project
    • Facilitate/coordinate tasks and goals with internal team members and external vendors
    • Establish and communicate clear deadlines
    • Identify marketing opportunities and provide Account Managers value-added options that enhance client’s current marketing plans

Skills & Knowledge

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing or Communications
  • Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience beyond college
  • An interest and experience in marketing
  • An innate sense of creativity and curiosity, with an eye for content, copy, and messaging standards
  • An understanding of social media platform best practices, features, and audiences
  • A desire to cultivate and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of clients in a range of industries
  • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and work well under pressure and with time constraints
  • The ability to drive projects forward, communicate progress, and troubleshoot obstacles
  • Writing skills for writing social media posts and email copy
