Internship Opportunity for a Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, creative marketer to create, coordinate, and deliver multiple aspects of marketing campaigns for our clients. This individual will be an essential contributor to projects and initiatives. They will work alongside our graphics, development, and strategy team members to develop and implement content calendars, both organic and paid social strategies, and manage reporting across social media and email platforms.

The ideal candidate has:

  • An interest and experience in marketing
  • An understanding of platform best practices, features, and audiences
  • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and work well under pressure with time-sensitive deadlines
  • The ability to drive projects forward, communicate progress, and troubleshoot obstacles
  • Solid copywriting skills
  • An innate sense of creativity and curiosity, with an eye for content, copy, and messaging standards
  • A desire to cultivate and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of clients in a range of industries

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specific aspects of a larger marketing plan
    • Meet deadlines and stay within budget parameters
    • Write and publish social media
    • Execute social advertising based on client goals and objectives  
    • Write and design marketing emails in tools such as Mailchimp, HubSpot and other similar ESPs
    • Coordinate content creation, publishing and promotion
    • Compile analytical data for specific aspects of projects to demonstrate return on investment
  • Contribute to the delivery of a project
    • Facilitate/coordinate tasks and goals with internal team members and external vendors
    • Establish and communicate clear deadlines
    • Identify marketing opportunities and provide Account Managers value-added options that enhance client’s current marketing plans

Skills & Knowledge

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience beyond college
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
