The owner and president of LimeLight Marketing, Brandee Johnson was recently honored by the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce as one of the 2018 Women of Distinction. Women chosen for this award were considered based on their community involvement, professional achievement and volunteer service.

LimeLight Marketing was founded after a long career in operations, sales and marketing to fulfill a dream of entrepreneurship that Brandee has always had. Brandee has led the LimeLight team to help local and national businesses for the last two years. Brandee and the LimeLight team help businesses reach their goals by utilizing marketing strategies like social media, branding, video and website development.

“Creating jobs and providing a workplace where people are valued and can feel free to be creative is something I love,” she said.

In 2015, she took a leap of faith and opened her own business – a business that would not only elevate other businesses, but one that would expansively grow and provide jobs itself. In the last year alone, the LimeLight team has doubled the size of it’s staff.

This growth has been enabled by building partnerships with companies across industries who gain value from their marketing expertise and services. View some of their recent work on their website. In addition to her professional work, Brandee gives back to the community through her service as a board member for the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the PSU Kelce School of Business. She also served on the steering committee which led to the creation of the Lord’s Diner in Pittsburg.
